The Chinese Association of Iowa will provide China visa service during the Chinese New Year Celebrations. 

The visa service will be 12:00-2:00pm.

Chinese Visa Application Instructions:

1) Fill out the Chinese visa application form (attached).
2) Photo: 2x2, color, full face, front view, with a light background (Passport photos are preferred).
3) Applications for multiple entries within 2 years need copies of marriage certificate and passports.
4) Return envelopes with postage paid (FedEx strongly recommended).
5) Application fee: $140.00/passport (Money Order/Cashier Check ONLY, payable to Chinese Consulate in Chicago)
6) Chinese Association of Iowa service fee (check or cash accepted): $5.00/passport (Chinese Association members); $20.00/passport (non-members).  You can become a member of the Chinese Association on Jan 21.

 

爱荷华州华人协会为爱荷华社区成员办理中国签证需知：

1）填写中华人民共和国签证申请表。
2）相片一定要正面彩色近照(2x2, 浅色背景）。
3）美国出生小孩第一次办签证一定要出生证和父母护照复印件。如果是绿卡，还需绿卡复印件。
4）中国出生的孩子，第一次拿美国护照去中国，一定要带中国护照原件和复印件。如果已经是美国护照，曾经国籍是中国，一定要旧签证复印件。如果护照里面有，就不需要。
5）关于两年多次签证要求 
a）中国出生基本没问题
b）美国出生中国人小孩，要出生证复印件和旧签证复印件。如果没有旧签证，就需要出生证和父母护照复印件和绿卡复印件。
c）如果是纯美国人一定要结婚证复印件和对方护照复印件。   
6）非美国护照签证，一定要绿卡复印件或白卡。如果曾经国籍是中国，外国护照第一次回国，还需要中国护照原件和复印 件。另外还需要多填两张附表。 
7）回邮信封要帖足邮资，有跟踪号码。最好用FedEx。
8 ) 商务签证需要美国商务邀请信。
9）工作签证需要被受权单位通知表和外国专家许可证，另填附表。 
10）美国出生小孩父母亲没有绿卡不能代办，因为要自己本人去领馆办回美证。
11）签证费：$140.00/每本护照，只收Monday Order 或 Cashier's Check (支付: Chinese Consulate in Chicago). 不收现金和支票。
12) 爱荷华州华人协会收取服务费：$5.00/每本护照（会员），$20.00/每本护照(非会员）。可收现金和支票。
